V.1.1 The Privy Council Act (II ACG 3, Art. 3) as revised 7545 [Summoning the Council-General]

THIRD, That a session of the Privy Council shall last from the dissolution of a session of the Council-General until the opening of the next session of the Council-General; that the Lord Great Steward may summon the Council-General at any time at his own discretion, and shall summon the said Council at the request of the Privy Council, or upon the written petition of any ten (10) Councillors-General, provided, that any Councillor-General who, having petitioned for the summoning of a Council-General, shall have failed to attend the said Council, shall, unless excused by the said Council-General, forfeit his or her membership therein; and that the Council-General in any case shall never be dissolved for longer than two years.
